Her Morning Elegance

Her morming elegance is a music video produced by Oren Lavie. The purpose of the video is to promote the song helping to sell records. The concept based video is also slightly narrative as it reflects the lyrical content of the song. The video has being made in a real life studio set made to look like a bedroom. The purpose of using stop motion animation for the video is to help breakdown the content of the song and tell the story in parts. The video has being created simply by the charcter on screen and probs being manually using a static camera therefore all the movement was made on the bed as each image was taken.
The video is aimed at both male and females that are older or can relate to the lyrical content of the song and the love story being told, telling us how lovely the artist thinks the charcter on screen looks in the morning. The overall visual effect of this video is very good although it was not a very complecated creative process. The movemnt of the different props as they are introduced are smooth and appear on screen natrually.
The strength of the video is that were able to acheive all of the different shots and images using only one camera angle, although the movement does appear jerky it adds to the stop motion effect.
In my opinion there is no weakness about the video as it has acheived the desired effect, to tell a love story using stop motion animation
